The Triple S Planning Commission
The Commission is made up of seven (7)
members; three (3) from the County, three
(3) from the City of Shelbyville and one (1)
from the City of Simpsonville that are
appointed for a four (4) year term by the
legislative body. The Commission
elects a chairman, vice-chairman and a
treasurer annually on the third (3rd)
Tuesday of January during the annual
organizational meeting.
The Commission is governed by Kentucky
Revised Statute 100 (KRS 100) and the
Commission
By-Laws.
The Commission meets the third Tuesday of
each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Stratton
Center located at 215 Washington Street,
Shelbyville, Kentucky. The purpose of the
meetings is to hear various requests related
to planning and zoning.
