FAQ's

Is a Zoning Permit required for a barn? Yes, a barn, run-in-shed, silo, etc. requires a zoning permit to be issued by the Commission.
What types of structures are exempt from a Zoning Permit being issued? Recurring maintenance work regardless of cost; Construction or alteration of agricultural structures when they are three (300) hundred feet or more from the nearest property line or road; and Installation of required improvements according to an approved preliminary subdivision plat or planned development plan.
What are the office hours for the Commission? The Commission office is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding Commission observed holidays.
