The Triple S Board of
Adjustments and Appeals
The Board is made up of seven (7)
members; three (3) from the County, three
(3) from the City of Shelbyville and one (1)
from the City of Simpsonville that are
appointed for a four (4) year term by the
legislative body. The Board
elects a chairman, vice-chairman and a
treasurer annually on the last Thursday of January during the annual
organizational meeting.
The Board is governed by Kentucky
Revised Statute 100 (KRS 100) and the Board
By-Laws.
The Board meets the last Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Stratton
Center located at 215 Washington Street,
Shelbyville, Kentucky. The purpose of the
meetings is to hear variance requests, conditional use permits,
appeals to the zoning administrator, and
interpretations of the zoning regulations.
